Eagle Rocks is an excellent viewing platform for the mountains and a good place to have a picnic. And from here you can go down to the Agursky waterfalls.
Eagle Rocks, or White Rocks, are picturesque cliffs that rise 125 meters above Agura. They offer a wonderful view of the sea and mountains. Akhun will be right in front of you, and the waterfalls will be below you. Sometimes upstairs we even heard the roar of water. You can see the rocks themselves from the trail to Agursky waterfalls.
Mostly locals come to Eagle Rocks to have a picnic and relax with a beautiful view. Upstairs there is a parking lot, a cafe, tables and a statue of Prometheus, who, according to legend, was chained to these rocks.
The route along the edge of the cliffs is very simple, even a child can walk. There are no strong elevation changes. Know yourself go out to the playgrounds and observe all the beauty!
How to get to the Eagle Rocks
You can get there by car, bus or visit the Eagle Rocks with a guided tour.
By car from Sochi, you need to get to Staraya Matsesta, cross the bridge past the sanatorium and go uphill, without turning anywhere, until you reach the parking lot.
From the Sochi railway station to the "Old Matsesta" stop there are buses No. 120 and 121, as well as a minibus No. 43. Then you need to walk 3 km through the village and up the hill (about an hour) or try to find a taxi driver if you are lazy.
