Vacation season in Turkey - weather
Turkey is washed by as many as four seas, but we are interested in the climate of "massively tourist" - the Mediterranean and the Aegean.
The Mediterranean coast is characterized by dry, hot summers and slushy mild winters. The maximum frost occurs during the period from December to February, and the temperature is close to + 15 ° C.
The warmth is "Turkish style" since the end of May, and the season of high degrees lasts until mid-September. The air temperature at this time is kept within + 35 ° C! And the water at its peak in August reaches + 30 ° C. For a family vacation in Turkey, it is better to choose June, when the baking is not so critical.
Heat in the resorts of the Aegean coast comes closer to July (up to + 32 ° C) and lasts until September. But: it is less humid here, and therefore the heat is more easily tolerated. The sea warms up later (in July) and cools down earlier (in September); on average, the temperature is + 26 ° C.

Belek

The only and significant disadvantage if Turkey is certainly with children at this resort: Antalya airport is two hours away (note for those who cannot stand the road). Turkey with its sandy beaches is the most popular option for a relaxing holiday. But not every region will appeal to parents and their child. Let's highlight those that are special for children.
Belek beaches are not awarded the Blue Flag for their pretty eyes. Belek is a gentle slope and a warm (even luxury) Mediterranean Sea. A bonus - a well-equipped beach: dotted with umbrellas and sun loungers. If we were to rank "where is better", this resort would be in the first place, even despite the sometimes muddy water (due to the sand).
Let Side be bald on the green, the Cholakli sands will compete with the location above. And here is the coast of Alanya, although it is an economy class, but with fine sand (for children we recommend Keykubat).
But! If the main criterion for choosing a resort is sandy beaches, we do not recommend Kemer - there are pebbly ones.
